Strawberry Smoothie is probably one of the first smoothie recipes ever created. It is also one of the favourite and most famous smoothie.

The real Strawberry Smoothie is made from strawberries only, with no other stuff added. There are other ingredients you may add to your strawberry smoothie, as there are no limits to your creativity. Adding milk to a strawberry smoothie will result in a nice milkshake that your kids will appreciate most. And don’t forget what different it’ll make, if you swap the milk for an ice cream… Kids just love it!

The strawberries are sweet enough on their own, so there is no need for adding a sugar to your smoothie. If the smoothie isn’t sweet enough for you anyway, add some honey instead. That will help you with sweetening your drink and keep the health benefits too. Using fresh strawberries would be the best choice, but even with the frozen strawberries you will make a stunning smoothie full of vitamins with the same nutrition value as the fresh fruit one.

• 6 – 10 strawberries
• small natural yoghurt
• 1 banana (optional)
• honey (optional)

Put all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
